OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

The classic and handsome view of the southern constellation of Crux (The Cross) joined in this case by the western side of Centaurus and part of the eastern side of Carina Constellation. The picture focus on the populated southern region of our Milky Way

This vast region is best seeing with binoculars. Due the lost of objects around someone can spend a whole night to navigate this area.

Many well known objects are visible in the image. Starting by the Coal Sack at the right below the Southern Cross; next Lambda Centauri nebula; NGC 3766 not at all resolved by the Jena Lens. To the right 100 minutes Open Cluster IC 2602. Going up Carina Nebula complex and also Open cluster NGC 3532.

This image was taken in a fairly fast outdoor scape to Mercedes Observatory with Ezequiel Bellocchio ASTROPILAR and Ignacio DB from PAMPASKIES
