OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

A rather small Planetary Nebula in the constellation of Eridanus arround 4 degrees east from Gamma Eridani lying in starless field. The image was taken while testing the Celestron focal reducer at the best possible spacing. The nebula has a nice green colour outer gas shell, similar to the Eskimo Nebula. It is also known as the Cleopatra's Eye. Visually this object demands large aperture telescopes and high magnification to reveal its structure.
