OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

NGC 2910 is Open Cluster located in the central southern side of the Constellation of Vela, close the the limit with Carina. It was discovered by English astronomer John Herschel in 1834 from Cape Good Hope in South Africa.  The cluster contains almost 50 star members highly concentrated and covers a distance of 15 light years in diameter. Latest studies indicates 160 million years of age.
