OBJECT DESCRIPTION

This marvellous cluster was the first object I directed the Scope for a picture in our Vacations in Merlo San Luis Argentina. Had to ask a friend to look for the name of the cluster. Call my attention that i did not see many pictures over the net.  It has a nice butterfly shape. Another good target for small telescopes even in light poluted skies which can be easily find at 2 degrees west of 3.4 Magnitude q Carina (V337 Carina)

The guiding was quite poor since the scope was placed without a proper alignment. In addition the ED glass was not properly placed into its house therefore the image was cropped to the best side of the FOV. This nice target deserves a second shot
